This notice explains how Dynasys Insights, a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central extension published by DYNASYS (Istanbul, Türkiye), handles data. The extension runs entirely inside your own Business Central environment.
1. Data the Extension Reads
To calculate the dashboard, the extension reads, in read-only mode:
- customer and vendor ledger entries (and their detailed entries), posted sales and purchase invoices and credit memos and their lines;
- G/L accounts, G/L entries and G/L budget entries;
- items, item ledger entries and value entries;
- analysis views, analysis view entries and analysis view budget entries, dimensions and dimension values;
- salespeople, vendors, countries, company information (name and logo) and general ledger setup.
It reads only what the signed-in user is permitted to read, including their security filters. Data the user may not read is not read or shown.
2. Data the Extension Stores
The extension stores in your Business Central database: the company setup, the sales and purchase targets, and each user's personal dashboard settings (default page and period, number of items, dark mode, favourite salesperson, collapsed KPI strip, and the analysis view selections). It does not copy or store your sales, purchase or financial data.
3. Storage and Transmission
All data stays in your Business Central environment. The extension does not send data to, or store data on, any server owned or operated by DYNASYS. Its user interface and chart libraries are packaged with the extension; nothing is loaded from the internet.
4. Export and Print
An Excel export is created in Business Central and downloaded to the user's device. Print opens the dashboard in a browser window for the user's printer. What happens to these files and printouts is up to the user and your organisation.
5. Licensing
The extension is licensed through Dynasys Licensing, installed with it. The licence key and the list of licensed users are stored in your Business Central database and are checked there; no licence check is made over the internet. Request a License opens an e-mail in your own mail program, containing your company name, your Company License ID and the products in use. It is only sent if you choose to send it.
6. Telemetry and Analytics
The extension does not collect or send usage telemetry, analytics or diagnostic data. DYNASYS receives no information about how you use the extension or about your data.
7. Retention and Deletion
Settings and targets stored by the extension are part of your Business Central database and are kept under your organisation's policies. You can change or delete them at any time in Business Central; uninstalling the extension with its data removes them.
8. Your Role and Your Rights
Your organisation decides what data is processed in its Business Central environment and is responsible for it under applicable data protection law (such as KVKK or GDPR). Because all data remains in your environment, you have full control over access, correction, export and deletion, using Business Central's standard tools and permissions.
9. Third-Party Services
The extension does not integrate with third-party services or external APIs. It uses only Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
